Microsoft says this new lightweight version of its Visio will not replace the existing subscription plans, and it will only address the "essential" diagramming needs of users. Additionally, the new Visio Data Visualizer add-in for Excel brings the ability to create a diagram from the spreadsheet data to help users visualize it. Users will be able to access the Visio app within Microsoft Teams, and it also integrates with Word and PowerPoint. It comes with a bunch of design templates, such as process diagrams and basic flowcharts. The built-in lightweight Visio web app lets users create, edit, and seamlessly collaborate on Visio diagrams with their colleagues.
